cccSynopsis Do-seong(YooMin)isachildmonkwholivesatasmallmountaintemplewiththeheadmonk(ByeonKi-jong),learningtheteachingsofBuddha.Hebecomesattachedtoayoungwidow(ChoiEun-hee)whocomestoprayatthetemple,andthechildlesswidowentreatstheheadmonktoletherraiseDo-seongasherownson.ConflictensueswhenDo-seong'srealmother(KimSeon-young)appears,butsheleavesthetempleforthesakeofherson'sfuture.Onthedaythewidowistotakethechilddownfromthemountain,theheadmonkdiscoversthatDo-seonghaskilledabirdbyensnaringitinatrapanddecidesnottolettheboygointothesecularworld.WhenDo-seongfindsoutthathisrealmotherhasbeentothetemple,hesetsouttofindher.
